Reaching Ms. Nuttall

Dear 5th Grade Families,
First, wishing you all good health. These are strange times!  Secondly, as we navigate a new format for schooling I want to keep you in the loop as well as make myself available to you for any questions about school work.  

I plan to be available - online and ready - from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, and 2:00 - 4:00 PM. I will be checking throughout the day, but if students need a quick response they can count on me during those hours to respond quickly.  This, like everything else, is subject to change as the need arises.

Students should look for email updates from me on Mondays and I will post important information to my blog at the beginning of the week.

Please do not hesitate to communicate with me if you have questions.

Readers Theater

 Over the last few weeks of school students have been participating in several readers theater scripts.  The class worked on and presented Robin Hood and Stone Soup as a whole group.  In small groups students worked on scripts that focused on Greek Myths (Revenge of the Gods, Curse of the Winter, Medusa and Hercules), along with Fairy Tales & Fables (Chinese Cinderella story  & Lion and the Mouse.)  A small group of girls even presented a script titled Lavender, which was written by our very own Zoe with editing support from Selah and Anna. Readers Theater helps students to work on their fluency and speaking and presenting skills.
